What is required to install Aestiva Procurement?
Technically, you need just a web server (such as IIS or Apache) on a supported hardware platform. Aestiva Procurement can be installed on Windows NT/2000/2003/XP, Unix, Linux and Mac OS X servers. It can also be installed onto shared or co-located equipment. If you are unsure, ask your Aestiva Account Coordinator for help.

Are install instructions provided?
Yes. Install instructions are available. You can also receive a walkthrough. Installation, once a web server is set up, takes about five minutes.

Is there software to install on end-user equipment?
No. Aestiva Procurement uses no plug-ins or Java applets. And end-users can use any kind of browser and any kind of computer.

Do I need to link Aestiva Procurement with a database engine?
No. Aestiva Procurement includes a high-performance database engine (Aestiva HTML/OS). The database engine is self-maintaining and can be backed up with standard backup software -- in the same manner files are backed up.

How much training is provided with purchase?
Aestiva provides training and materials for the IT administrator and the application administrator. Training is provided over the phone. On-site training can be provided (although it is not recommended) at an additional cost.

End-users training is not provided and also not necessary. This is because Aestiva's eform-centric design makes running the product intuitive. Furthermore, on-screen help is provided (modifiable by the application administrator) to ensure end-users can solve problems that come up within the software without having to get help from their internal call center and/or administrator(s).

Can I have more than one admin trained?
Yes. Just make sure backup admins join the phone training provided to the primary admin.

How much support is included?
Purchase includes everything you need to get up and running plus one year of support/product upgrades. Details are provided when you are issued a cost and delivery quotation.

How is Aestiva Procurement priced?
Aestiva Procurement is priced based on the number of users and the number of add-ons you want. Aestiva Procurement is an end-to-end solution. It includes (i) Process Mapping, (ii) HTML Design Setup, (iii) Special Programming, if any, (iv) Installation Support, (v) Trusted Deployment Support, (vi) Final Deployment Help, and (vii) post-deployment support. What is Process Mapping?
Process Mapping is a one-day or two-day review of the business processes to be automated by your Aestiva Procurement installation. Process Mapping is done over the phone or at Aestiva's offices in Torrance, California.

Can I add modules after I have already gone live?
Yes. Modules can be added after you have already gone live.

Does it cost more to add modules in the beginning rather than later?
In general, there is no penalty for adding a module in the beginning rather than later. Exceptions to this can occur if the module being added requires changes to existing data and or an existing module.

Are there annual licensing fees?
No. Aestiva Procurement is sold as a standard software product with a standard EULA. There are no annual licensing fees (although you will have an optional annual support contract).
