Footprint

The footprint of Aestiva Travel and Expense (the hard-disk space used) is the disk space used for the HTML/OS engine, Aestiva Travel and Expense application files, system cache files (files used during program execution), and database records.

Aestiva's binary engine plus application files take about 10 Megabytes. Space occupied by Aestiva's system caching files depends on user activity which depends on the number of expense requests (forms) processed per day. Form database records are typically under 100K per record.

In general, hard disk space is related to the number and size of the documents stored. A chart showing recommended hard-disk space availability is shown below. Hard disk space usage will vary.

Space for Receipts
If you will be attaching receipts to Aestiva Travel and Expense then allow space for the attachments. In general, when receipt attachments are used, they will demand more space than the application. In these cases, allow about one or megabyte per expense sheet.
