Two kinds of connections are supported; the Web Site connection and the Order Processing connection. Web Site Connection The Web Site connection allows users of an electronic form to click a link and pop up a browser window containing the supplier web site. The automated Web Site connection allows the user to shop a supplier site, select one or more products, and place them back on the electronic form -- with the click of a few buttons. Login to the supplier web site and the transfer of goods back to the electronic form is done seamlessly. Order Processing Connection The Order Processing connection allows approved orders to automatically be transmitted to the supplier -- eliminating supplier costs related to order-entry, order-verification, and shipping errors. A Profit Center - Bottom-Line Aestiva Punchout gives you the ability to define any number of supplier punchouts. Since suppliers often provide discounts to customers using electronic ordering, Aestiva Punchout acts as a profit center; earning you bottom-line savings with every renegotiating supplier contract.
